With a budding reputation in the aircraft renovation sector, Wicked Coatings won a new contract to undertake refurbishment of a Bombardier Challenger 650.
“The original wood work had degraded, it was cracked, discoloured and de-laminating,” explained Chris Hinks, Wicked Coatings. “We stripped back all the panels to substrate and repaired the damage.
“TV cut outs and communications points were infilled, smoothed and all painted a sleek high gloss piano black. Tables had trim cut out, infilled, smoothed and silver pinstripe detail applied.”
Wicked Coatings managed the paint process, as well as onboard polishing and snagging to ensure a Wicked-standard quality finish.
The project included paint work for all wood work; bulkheads, upper dado rails, lower dado rails, tables, refreshment units, closet, lavatory and other storage areas.
Wicked Coatings offers an extensive aircraft refurbishment package for commercial, corporate and private jets, and helicopters.
